Police CPE openly defiles Governor Sanwo-olu’s order to evacuate Magodo estate
An unarmed CPE (Chief Superintendent of Police) openly disobeyed the order of the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu, to vacate the Magodo phase 2 estate of Lagos state before the 4th of January.
Yesterday afternoon Governor Sanwo-olu led some members of his cabinet to the estate to speak with the protesting residents who started protesting after they observed the continuous presence of policemen in the estate.
A few weeks ago over 50 policemen that accompanied some persons believed to be land grabbers to demolish the houses. Although they were stopped but have since then laid siege in the estate.
