3 Nigerian students design robotic guard dog

Three students from Nigeria’s Adekunle Ajasin University have designed a black furred robotic dog which they hope will help guard homes.

This project they say will help to cub insecurity as the dog has a sensor for noise and detects movements which makes it begin to bark exactly like a living dog. It also has a camera that makes it interact with the owner without the other coming out to check the cause of its barking.

This project was supervised by Jelili Adedeji, a research scientist at the Adekunle Ajasin University.
They  also said they want it to me more aggressive and also they stated it’s advantages over the living dog as it cannot be stopped by a gun shot.
