Jephthah Bowoto, who is popularly known as Akpororo, is a Nigerian stand-up comedian, singer, and actor, he was born on the 13 of February 1989. He is an indigene of Ilaje, Ondo State, Nigeria but he was born and brought up in Warri, a city in Delta State Nigeria, where he had his early education in both primary and secondary school. He started his career as a local gospel musician until 2008 when he participated in the National Comedy Challenge by Opa Williams and went on to win the Calabar chapter of the competition which he fully deserves.
